Sheelagh Mchugh

Sheelagh first qualified as a swimming teacher in 1996 in Ireland, where she grew up. She has always been a water baby, having learned how to swim herself in a (very cold) lake in Co Cavan during her summer holidays!

She discovered the Shaw Method in 2009 and trained with Steven that same year, and it’s been her passion ever since. Sheelagh predominantly teaches one-to-one adult lessons and loves to get in the water for each session to demonstrate and assist her students.

Sheelagh has access to various pools in Brighton, UK.
