This transformative six-week program uses the Shaw Method and Alexander Technique principles to address the root causes of back pain while building your swimming skills and confidence.
What to Expect Each Week:
- Week 1: Introduction to the Shaw Method
Basics of the Alexander Technique and the principles of buoyancy, balance, and breath. - Week 2: Posture and Alignment
Align your spine and improve posture both in and out of the water. - Week 3: Movement and Flow
Learn fluid movements that reduce tension and promote relaxation. - Week 4: Building Strength and Flexibility
Strengthen your core and improve flexibility using water resistance. - Week 5: Mind-Body Connection
Enhance focus and concentration through mindful swimming techniques. - Week 6: Integration and Transformation
Integrate skills into a cohesive swimming practice, reflecting on personal growth.
