Try This  # 2 ~ ‘Smart Swimming’ the front crawl – a more sustainable energy efficient, powerful and enjoyable way to swim front crawl

  1. After placing the arm in the water and extending it, release your forearm, bend your wrist and elbow gently, then apply effort.
  2. Notice how the body comes into a more stable position.

  3. Feel the weight of water against your forearm as your body moves forward.


👋Contrast this with pulling straight through without flexing the wrist and elbow.

👋Notice how your arm slips through the water with less forward momentum.

👋Compare left and right arms – notice any differences.
